Finished in jet black with magnolia leather piped black and black carpets.
Jaguarsport was formed as a partnership between Jaguar and TWR. These Jaguarsport XJ40 models are very rare motorcars, and this particular model was perhaps the most sought after of them all. The initial cars, although fitted with chassis and suspension upgrades, along with the more obvious styling of the Jaguar TWR bodykit and wheels had only a standard 3. 6 litre engine. These 4. 0 models also had a higher performance engine to the standard car which featured high-lift cams and double plenum inlet manifold (individually cast with the Jaguarsport logo), making them very special cars. What makes this car even more special is that the later cars reverted back to chrome bumpers and had much more subtle body styling. This early example featuring the full fat TWR bodykit and wheels, along with the twin headlamps and finished in jet black looks really quite menacing.
Supplied new on 12th April 1990 by Hatfields Jaguar of Sheffield and covered only 25, 600 miles since. We are delighted to have purchased this car back into stock as we have supplied it to its last 2 previous owners. Comes complete with all original handbooks and stamped service booklet, all still in the original magnolia leather Jaguar Sport pouch along with the original first aid kit and tool kit.
