Vintage James Comet in original unrestored condition. All metal and chrome is sound and solid, with original paint and badges. Re-bored by Villiers, with new piston, rings etc. Excellent compression and gears. Currently not running, suspect problem is inside magneto. Last ridden a few months ago, so an easy fix to get her back running. Good tyres and comes with original silencer, original logbook and manual. Currently lights are connected to 9 volt battery stored in basket, as shown. Original lighting system can easily be restored. This bike would suit someone looking for a simple project to keep an example of British motorcycle history alive. No road tax or MOT, cheap insurance and great fun to ride!
