MeV exocet 1. 8 turbo fully registered and road legal. Mk1 mx5 based with LSD
I would describe this as a professional built exocet with a brand new custom wiring loom (no ugly wiring tray)and one off 3D printed ignition barrel and custom starter switch’s.
I can send a iCloud link to 180 build photos showing each bit in detail. Kit is built from a Mk1 mx5. Running a td04 turbo with 440cc injectors and me221 ecu. Full custom stainless exhaust with swappable cat and decat for mots. Well within noise limits for all uk tracks. Iva passed in 2021 so first MOT will be feb 2024 currently done 750 miles since built. Kit is 200bhp at the wheels with Dyno printout. So that is about 230-240bhp at the fly if your comparing normal engine power. Kerb weight was around 600 kg. As you can imagine it is quite fast. On a track day there is not much that can keep up apart from a supercharged atom which just have the legs in a straight line and some high end caterhams. Balance wise it is lovely to control on the limit, the back end doesn’t snap like it does on mid engine stuff lotus Elise’s etc etc and because of the weight you never loose the brake pedal. Hard to remember the full parts list but here is a few.
