1966 Cotton Trials Motorcycle For Sale

For Sale:
Cotton Villiers Engine 250cc Trials Motorcycle
Registered 1966 with V5 document.
As you can see this Motorcycle has undergone a full nut and bolt restoration and is in excellent running order. With this M/ C comes all the paperwork from previous owners (only 6 over the last 56 years), and receipts including all the full engine rebuild by Villiers Services, the specialists in the West Midlands, (over £2300 spent alone in this area). Since the rebuild over 15 years, the Cotton m/ c was completed just before 2020, only covered about 10 miles and then placed into dry storage due to Lockdown. The decision to sell has not been taken lightly, but I do not have the time to trial this lovely machine and it needs to be used by an enthusiast. All engine components were examined and replaced if deemed even slightly suspect. It has new electronic ignition, carburettor, chain sprockets, all controls, shocks front and rear including special bushes throughout. Wheels have new rims and spokes, rebuilt by Chris Willis, (Willis Wheels). The list of parts and work is very long indeed and the photos show how immaculate this is for a 1966 machine. Included are the Norton Villiers maintenance manual, box of miscellaneous spares and stuff that came with the bike over the years including magazine articles of interest and letters from previous owners to Classic Bike. I welcome any questions and payment is by cash.
Thank you
