For sale is my F430 replica.
I have spent thousands on this car to make it as good as possible.
Car is properly registered with the DVLA
The car started off as a Mk2 MR2 onto which an MR2 Kits 430 replica was placed. All areas that needed to be cut (rear wheel arches and boot) were professionally welded afterwards with metal inserts where needed.
Engine is from a Toyota Camry and is a 3L V6 and the conversion including rebuilding the MR2 gearbox with new gearing (longer 5th gear for better motorway cruising) came to over £9k and was installed by Rouge Motorsport.
When the car was built the coolant radiator was replaced with an Aluminum race version and new fans.
The Air conditioning condenser was also replaced with a brand new Toyota one.
Suspension was replaced last year and now has custom rated BC racing coilovers all round which still look brand new.
Brakes are 8 pot Ksport at the front and Tax Ox on the rears so when you look through the alloy wheels you see proper brakes instead of the tiny looking Mr2 items. Again these cost several thousand pounds but look the part and make sure the car stops as well as it goes,
Alloy wheels are also brand new replica 19" Challange stradale wheels with new tyres all round.
The exhaust is a custom full stainless system (with cat) and makes the car sound fantastic.
The rear defuser and windscreen scuttle panel have been professionally carbon dipped by wicked coatings in poole who did a fantastic job.
Externally and mechanically the car is in great condition (mot was done on 14th march)
Paint and bodywork was professionally done by a local company so it looks great, no wavy looking fiberglass panels. Challenge stripe is not painted on so could be removed if you prefer. But i think it helps hide the T top when the roof is on as these cars were never built with a T bar. I have the T top bags for stowage behind the seats.
The Interior has had most of the hard work done on it to fit the recreation of a genuine 430 dashboard. The Dials have been changed for Celica ones from the old GT4 style cars as these have a very similar layout to the genuine car. These dials on there own are incredibly hard to come by and cost me hundreds. The dial faces are lit Plasma dials with replica logo on them not just a paper template, so they work and light up at night as they should.
Being 100% honest, the interior was always meant to be redone professionally once i knew everything fitted correctly and works, so its a little tatty around the edges.
Everything does work though, including the electric drivers seat and seat heating.
Problem was once i had fitted it i wanted to use the car and just never got round to taking it all apart again to take it to a trimmers.
The car has run faultlessly since its been built, and has done a trip down to Le Mans for the 24 hours classic. It has also been out to Spa in Belgium for the 24hour race there and last sept/ October we did the NC500 around the Scottish highlands with the car before sorning her for the winter.
Car has always been kept in a garage and will come with a fitted indoor car cover and battery conditioner.
Car is only up for sale as we may have to move house and i might not be able to relocate to a place with a suitable garage to fit the car in, I cant bring myself to leave it outside so would rather it went to a good home with someone who will cherish it like i have.
