We have just this week purchased this wonderfully original mk3 low mileage escort.
It has been in the same family in Suffolk from brand new and still even displays the supplying dealers window sticker. It displays just 22000 miles from new and 2 former keepers - all the same family!!
This car is genuinely like a time warp inside! Every piece of internal trim is simply like new, there are no rips, tears, cracks to the dash anywhere , lift up the boot carpet and its like new pin there too , even the spare wheel has never ever been out.
The body on the car is absolutely pin straight but there are a few areas of corrosion to the front valance and also the rear wheel arches that need attending too, everywhere else it is rot free and I have never seen such a genuine shell.
This car has one of two uses in my opinion - replace the arches and valance and you have a collectors example - super low mileage , low owners thats worth keeping or (dare I say it) you have a perfect shell with which to restore your rotten xr3/ series 1 rst .
