*** DEPOSIT TAKEN *** I saw this Santana PS10 advertised early last year 2021 at a car dealership in Surrey for £8500. i'd been using a Discovery 3 for some time and ideally wanted to trade up to a Defender. However their rise in prices made them too expensive for my pockets so I began looking for a rugged alternative, hence my eventual purchase of this example.
I had looked at a few and this, supplied new RHD in the UK, in my opinion, was a well kept, genuine example. I've enjoyed it over time as a second family vehicle and am now looking for a change, hence this listing.
Over the last year or so I've re-mot'd it until April 2023. it was noted on advisories there was a slight oil leak. I've had the rear main oil seal renewed and whilst apart, thought it worthwhile to have a NEW CLUTCH fitted.
Parts, both generic and genuine are readily available for these vehicles. The clutch and other parts I obtained direct from Santana UK (bills and receipts are included)
A set of new nitrogen filled Michelin 235/ 85 x 16 Tyres were fitted around 4, 000 miles ago.
Bearing in mind this is a 15 year old 'utility' vehicle, the 9-seater interior is in generally good condition. The same for the paintwork which is bright and presentable. Naturally, there are various dents, scratches etc etc around the bodywork commensurate with its age, mileage and previous useage. The lacquer has gone on the centre of the roof (see relevant dropbox photo)

The Iveco 2. 8td engine starts on the button, 2 and 4 wheel drive high and low ratios all work correctly and the new clutch is nice and light.
It's not a Land Rover Defender but it is a 1/ 3 to 1/ 2 the price of a similar aged model !! A couple of other advantages are that it runs both 2 and 4 wheel drive and the driving position is considerably more spacious.
