Acquired and recommissioned two years ago, this Riviera was first registered in the UK in 1989.
It was owned by the previous owner for many years until his passing. It then sat for a few years until it was brought back to life.
It’s powered by the original 425ci V8 with a 3 speed automatic transmission. It was ordered new with a comprehensive specification including power brakes (beautiful big finned drums), power steering, power windows and seats, power antenna, Air Conditioning and remote operation wing mirror and boot release.
The bodywork and underside are super clean and straight. When it was on a ramp being recommissioned a full inspection was carried out and the only welds visible were factory spot welds.
The recommissioning work was thorough including new exhaust, battery, a full brake and mechanical check and full service.
The car is highly original with a rare white interior and one year only turbine style hubcaps. It has covered less than 2, 000 miles in the last 23 years.
It starts, runs, drives and stops extremely well and it’s been a pleasure to own. I’ll be reluctant to see it go but I do need the space.
