We are thrilled to offer this beautiful Mercedes SL320 (R129) with the all-important automatic transmission. This example is finished in the iconic and timeless combination of Brilliant Silver metallic over Beige leather interior that is complemented by a black fabric hood and 8-spoke alloy wheels in a polished finish.
This SL320 benefits from the upgraded M104 inline 6-cylinder 24V engine, that in this instance has only covered 68, 500 miles and shows only 6 former keepers. Further, the car is also accompanied by its colour-coded hard top and stamped Mercedes service book. Additional specification on the car includes electric windows, electric front seats, interior wooden trim, cruise control and a Kenwood stereo.
We have just completed extensive preparation on this SL320 prior to offering it to the market. In addition to a comprehensive service with oil and filter changes and recent battery and alternator replacements, we have also replaced the roof rams which are a known weak point on the R129 SLs. To complement the mechanical preparation, this SL has also enjoyed extensive cosmetic preparation by our specialist paintshop which included a full respray in its correct Brilliant Silver and the rear screens on the soft top and accompanying hard top have been replaced.
The R129 SL remains one of the best value classic cars on the market today with this example sitting as one of the finest available due to its low mileage and extensive recent expenditure.
