BMW E46 M3 2001 (51)
No modifications. (Except 18” CSL alloys). Carbon black original paintwork, kiwi green nappa leather interior that is very clean with a great patina, (and brand new illuminated BMW gear knob!) I still have the original radio/ cassette too.
It has been well cared for in my 8 years of ownership and was my daily drive for nearly 7 of those years.
It has a full service history (including running in service) and a brand new MOT. Work has been done by main dealers and specialist BMW garages (with some interim oil services done by me every 6k miles). I have a large folder of receipts detailing all servicing and replacement work and have been diligent in sourcing OEM parts rather than cheap stuff. It has had the vanos unit replaced at around 110k (just before I bought it) and this has been faultless.
There are some rust spots around the wheel arches. There is also some bubbling rust around the boot lid handle as well as scuffs/ chips on the front bumper and front alloys (see pictures). That said, the car is 21 years old and still looks fantastic when polished. It has been garaged and SORNed for the past year or so (due to a change of circumstances during lockdown). It has just been mot’d and has had a few shakedown drives and is performing beautifully. It needs to go to a good home where someone can give it the time it deserves. Don’t be put off by the high miles, these engines are brilliant and this one has been well cared for with the best 10w/ 60 fully synthetic oils throughout.
