Description
For sale is my 1951 Motobecane D45S.
I bought this bike from a French motorcycle importer earlier this year. It had been through a cosmetic restoration and after purchase I had it go through a lengthy mechanical restoration too - a process which has been documented in an album containing over 90 photos!
The bike is still not perfect and has a few teething issues which I have discovered during some short rides - issues I no longer have the time to fix due to changes in circumstances hence me labeling it as a project. I'd be happy to discuss these in detail should you be interested in the bike.
I have however gone through the time and trouble to get the bike registered with the DVLA under historic status making it tax and MOT exempt and fixed number plates front and rear.
Included with the sale will be:
Current V5
All registration documentation (excluding personal items such as my license photocopy)
A USB drive containing it's photographed mechanical rebuild and digital copies of the manual and parts directory
A wicker basket to be mounted on the rear rack containing tools and a few spares.
The bike is 125cc and could be ridden legally on an A1 license or CBT.
