This is a real genuine Type 45 soft top Elan not a chopped about car.
I would describe her as a genuine oily rag motor that I’ve had the great pleasure to own for the last 12+ years.
Mot, s back to 1982 and lots of tax disks and paper work.
8 owners the last being the dealer who I purchased from he only Owen it for a few weeks.
In my ownership I’ve changed the steering wheel for a lovely Moto Lita one (still have the original) also she has electronic ignition.
Nice interior dashboard with original decal, lotus gear knob, good seats, Pye radio (not connected I love the engine note). Window seals soft top and tonneau covers original still has hood detail sticker on the back tray.
Having the desirable Dellorto carburettors.
Has a Roll Bar and Side intrusion Bars for extra safety.
She really has great patina not the best paint work with micro blistering all over and a few cracks. She could also do with a drive shaft conversion.
Chassis and engine numbers all match.
I’m not in any rush to sell it’s only my Morris is easier to get in and out of these days.
