I am offering a Renault R5 Turbo 2 type (82200A) in the rather rare color black (655), the vehicle was only registered on April 5th, 1983 in Seine Saint Denis (FR).
Didier, the 2nd owner, bought the Renault in 1989 with 28, 000km on the clock, 2 years later and having driven 7, 000km, the native Frenchman of Italian descent emigrated to southern Italy.
A customs document from March 27, 1991 is present, but Didier never registered the car in Italy, it still has its first French number plates and its Carte Gris. In a collection in Germany since 2017, this year the car was inspected and repaired where necessary by a workshop specializing in vintage and exotic cars.
The 3-piece rims have been extensively reworked, the screws have been polished and galvanized with 24 carat gold. All oils and fluids were changed, new brake and clutch cylinders were installed, a new battery was installed. The underbody is completely free of underbody protection because the car was cleaned with dry ice. The vehicle is being sold with a new TÜV and an H approval according to §21/ 23.
