Ex forces, Royal Enfield WD/ CO first registered for civilian use 1/ 11/ 1947. V5C in my name. Signed Dating Certificate from the RE Owners Club shows the factory dispatch date as 10/ 02/ 1944. Complete and mostly original, less a missing a side stand. Bike features reconditioned magneto (The Magneto Guys), new clutch, main bearings, roller big-end assembly (Hitchcock's Motorcycles/ SEP), recon speedo (David Woods), rebuilt wheels/ hubs (Central Wheels), brake linings and very many other parts/ receipts purchased by previous owner who was an active Royal Enfield club member. 1, 545 miles showing on the clock. Provided the correct procedure is followed the bike starts easily, ticks over smoothly and all electrics work. I recently fitted Renthal grips, a stainless Halcyon bar-end mirror and matching Oberon stainless end-stop, put in a new gel battery, adjusted both transmission chains, greased the fork bushes/ hubs and bike rides nicely in my drive.
