Selling my extremely rare 70’s Stimson Mini Bug, named after after the designer, the famous and respected Barry Stimson.
This 70’s Mini based vehicle was the first of its kind in the U. K. - a British beach buggy and even became a tv star and entered racing events. A Versatile Vehicle. With U. K. Mini v5c
A fabulous fairly easy winter project - ready for summer.
Rarer than a Mini Marcos or even a Mini Cooper S. in fact one of the rarest Mini based vehicles produced.
This is believed to be a MK2 racing version of which only four were ever built.
Dry stored for 30 years
Potential to convert fairly easily to EV and use to run around London.
Even great hire or publicity vehicle potential. It really stands out in a crowd.
Genuinely want it to a to a good home and be completed - I would be sad to see it go.
Of course being all Mini based spares are easy to find.
It requires some engine work and some ancillaries fitted but the vehicle has probably never been used much as can be seen.
