The LTD's unrivalled power comes from none other the mighty Z-1. The engine Cycle Magazine heralds as, The finest available. A full 900cc's of satin-smooth DOHC four-stroke horsepower.
Four big cylinders, each fed by its own matched 26mm Mikuni carburettor. With tuned, 4-into-2 collector exhausts for deep, strong breathing. All snugly mounted in a KZ900 double downtube
frame, so it handles as well as it goes. Top-of-the-line in every respect.

Mulholland rebuildable shock absorbers adjust to five pre-load positions and feature matched-rate springs. The flared 4-into-2 exhaust put out a quietly authoritative note. And a super-wide oversize rear tyre on a 16-inch cast aluminium alloy wheel holds the road with real style. Naturally the rear brake is also disc type for clean quick stops.
An extra-slim gas tank and chromed instrument housings carry out the elegant look. Deep, Classic Red metallic finish, highlighted by handsomely detailed pinstriping, bring it all together beautifully.
Note the shortened fender and extensive use of chrome accenting, of course there is an electric starter to turn you on, and audible turn signals, too.
