1955 Motobi Gran Sport,
These 250cc two stroke twins are incredibly rare these days, with only 70 built originally. Built in Pesaro Italy the home of Benelli, by one of the six Benelli brothers Giuseppe. After the founders death in 1957 MotoBi became part of Benelli.
There are only a handful left in existence today. The MotoBi was lovingly restored by Giancarlo Morbidelli and became part of his world famous 400 bike collection. This particular bike has a superb history, having been entered as a works bike and finishing 2nd in the 1955 Milano - Taranto race. Todays equivalent would be the Moto Giro, which I am sure you could enter the Motobi in. A superb collectors bike or recreate history in Italy, the choice is yours ?
