Description
Frame supplied to Moss's of Thirsk, North Yorkshire as a DB32 Scrambler on 25th May 1957; engine to Commerfords in Thames Ditton as a Clubman in October 1958 however, we have some doubts about the originality of the engine number stampings albeit, if they have been re-stamped, it is well done using the correct type of stamps (last photo shows the number) we have priced it accordingly, it is however a genuine Gold Star crankcase; very smart machine cosmetically; it is in excellent order mechanically being really well sorted with upgrades to make it a thoroughly useable machine, these upgrades include, Pearson Electric Starter, 12 volt electrics, Indicators, STD Gearbox, Mikuni Carburettor, TLS front brake plate in the Gold Star single sided drum; starts easily on the kick or electric; runs and rides extremely well with a lovely, mechanically quiet engine and it even ticks over; more details on our website at:- ventureclassics. com
