Rare and very pretty BSA Scout 2-seater roadster. I purchased this car from H&H Auctions Buxton sale last year. V5 presently Sorn Chassis L422
Was significantly restored in 2012-2013 including the body, underside, and hood, etc. Very good paint the odd ding but minimal rust, and believed complete. Currently in secure storage in Oxfordshire.
I had every intention of keeping and running her to Angouleme this summer sadly plans have changed and my Scout is now up for sale
Engine was inspected and bores were very good and pressure Ok. A fresh correct head gasket has been fitted. The car has new battery, plugs, and all correct fluids changed. f
Most importantly the gearbox, clutch, and starter motor have all recently rebuilt by a leading expert at significant cost!!
Hood and frame are good.
A history file including the receipt for the car being sold refurbished and running by RetroLegends of Eindhoven for 19, 500 Euros in 2013.
A rare and very pretty 1930s roadster and should be an easy winter project with all the important work done
Presently in classic car storage in Oxfordshire. Sensible offers over 10K will be entertained.
