Due to time constraints and far too infrequent use, our 2CV must now sadly go.
The 2CV AZ 1955 was a daily driver in the south of France from the neighbour of a friend who has given up driving for reasons of age.
As an old duck fan with several 2CVs in the past, I fulfilled my dream of a "corrugated duck" a few years ago and did a lot (complete electrics incl. electronic ignition, clutch, seat rubbers, roof, mats, tyres etc. etc.), but kept the charm of an everyday car, as not over-restored, here and there are repainted small scratches. Body and frame are rust free and has an authentic charm.
No backlog of repairs or maintenance, everything works as it should, the duck has been moved regularly, has never seen rain with me, is of course a garage car (with bespoke dust cover in red), oil changes have been carried out regularly despite very few miles, as has greasing.
H-plates, TÜV approved, registered.
Test drive only possible in dry weather.
