Not only did the Czechoslovakian-built Skoda begin to appear in U. S. showrooms during the late 1950's, the small car line managed to sell in fair numbers to American customers. Quite a feat for an automobile built in a Communist Country, at the height of the Cold War. In fact, an occasional earlier post war Skoda had managed to trickle into North America, headed for Canada, if not for U. S. ports. Very rare limited production, only about 100 Felicia's were sold in the US during 1959. This one has received a thorough ground up restoration.
