The Smart car was one of those cars that was well ahead of its time. Unveiled to the world at the 1997 Frankfurt auto show its main goal was to aid in decreasing the amount of congestion and air pollution in urban areas.
A joint venture between the Swatch Group and Daimler-Benz, the Smart Car (smart being a combination of Swatch Mercedes ART) has gone on to revolutionise the world of small cars.
Back in the mid-00s, the mental Mercedes tuners at Brabus got their hands on this quirky city car and went to town producing one of the more unique mild super-mini of the time.
