EXTERIOR
This super low mileage Brabus Roadster-coupé looks and feels just like a 15k mile car should. The Speed Silver paintwork presents to an excellent standard and appears very original throughout with little more than a dusting of frontal stone chips to report on close inspection. She’s arrow-straight along both sides and there are no scrapes to any of the arches or bumper areas. Looking at the fine condition of the rubber seals, plastics, and soft-top the car has clearly been stored away from the elements when not in use, and we’re pleased to report that the underside is also notably tidy. Better still the lights are clear and the glass is original all round, the only negative to report here being a couple of small marks on the nearside rear window but little to detract from the car’s overall highly impressive appearance.

INTERIOR
Nicely spec’d with heated leather sports seats, air conditioning, and aluminium Brabus trim the interior of the car is a great place to be. In line with the mileage the upholstery is pleasingly unworn, and glancing across the dash there are no major marks or scratches to any of the plastics or switchgear. The steering wheel is also really fresh with a perfect texture to the leather rim, and behind it there are paddles to change through the gears manually. Everything works just as it should, including the AC and electric hood.

ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
Barely run-in with only 15, 731 miles under its belt the mechanics of the car remain in fine fettle. It was last serviced only 500 miles ago in February 2023, and for the new keeper’s peace of mind a full vehicle health check has just been carried out by our trusted classic car workshop.

At its heart is a Brabus-tuned 3-cylinder turbocharged engine delivering circa 100hp – and it’s mid-mounted for optimal weight distribution. The car’s light weight ensures excellent fuel economy and the automated sequential 6-speed transmission is a joy to operate.

WHEELS, TYRES AND BRAKES
As part of the Brabus package this low mileage example sits on deep-dish 17-inch ‘Monoblock VI’ alloys, all in excellent original condition with only a few minor kerb marks on the nearside rear wheel to report. They are wrapped in a matching set of Kuhmo tyres that have seen only a few hundred miles of use since fitment. The brakes have also been checked and remain in fine operational condition, effortlessly bringing the car to a stop quickly and in a straight line. The car further benefits from Bilstein B14 coilovers that were fitted earlier this year.

HISTORY FILE
This striking example was first registered in April 2004 and quite remarkably it has driven only 15, 731 miles since then. There are plenty of invoices in the accompanying history file for recent mechanical expenditure, including for the last service that was carried out in February 2023 at 15, 263 miles. New Bilstein coilovers were also fitted in February and all the tyres were replaced in January 2023. With the exception of 2021 the car has been MOT’d every year, further verifying the low mileage.
