Chassis number BM7-1700. first registered on October 1st 1962 to an address in Belgravia SW1 a true London Black Cab. The vehicle was fitted with a 1703cc petrol engine during 1967. It appears that the body of this example was built by Weymann of, Addlestone Surrey who produced 390 Taxi bodies for Beardmore between 1958 and 1965. Amongst many artifacts the history file contains detail of this cars order along with others for the same Company. There is also "The Beardmore Guide" a fascinating, and most useful publication and many invoices and associated paperwork.
