1957 Fuldamobil S7
The Fuldamobil, which derived its name from the German town of Fulda, was one of the first microcars built after WWII. The Series 7 was built from 1957 until 1969. The entire car measures just 10 feet, 4 inches long and weighs less than 700 pounds. The Fitchel and Sachs engine is a 198cc 2-stroke single-cylinder engine producing 9. 5hp backed by a 4-speed forward and 4-speed reverse manual transmission depending on which way the engine is rotating!
This particular car was built under license in Sweden by the Fram King Company. As one of the first micro cars produced post war and being the one first described as 'Bubble Car', Mr Coyle was keen to have an example in his collection. This car was sourced from the High Chapparel Museum north of Stockholm.
