New in at The Bike Specialists we have for sale the super rare Aprilia SXV550. This hard to find example is a 2006 model having covered just 850 miles. The bike has had just two owners from new. This bike stands in its original condition which for this model was rare as most were raced in supermoto throughout the late 2000s. A number of these bikes were converted to road race spec and have been used in short circuit competition and on the roads circuits.
Popular with people who know them but it has to be said that they are delicate and need to go to someone with knowledge of the breed, the early bikes especially are known for the main engine cases leaking oil/ water due to poor sealant from the factory however our example has already been professionally upgraded and is also fitted with a new starter motor. It has both its keys, original tool kit with its Aprilia ‘bum bag’ and original rear tail light, mudguard etc. Currently fitted with a tail tidy.
