EXTERIOR
The black metallic paintwork presents with a deep shine after a full machine polish by our in-house detailer. Even on close inspection there are few imperfections to report with little more than a dusting of light frontal stone chips evidencing the low mileage. The complete F1 Team decal set is present and correct and certainly adds to the feeling of exclusivity of this particular model. Aside from one small mark on the nearside real wheel the 18-inch alloys are perfect all round and, as per factory Cup Chassis spec, are finished in anthracite and shod in Michelin Pilot Sport tyres (fitted 2023). Cherished since new and entirely unmodified, a collector-quality example.
INTERIOR
The excellent original condition continues inside. The deeply bolstered Recaro seats hint at only very light use with minimal marking to the grippy cloth/ leather combo. Other commonly worn items such as the steering wheel and gear knob are equally well presented with no scratches, and the switchgear is unmarked. Everything works as it should and in the footwells a set of genuine Renaultsport overmats can still be found. This car is number 2, 886 as denoted by the plaque on the centre console and stickers on the seat mounts.
ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
The engine bay is very clean and tidy with no signs of accident damage or previous poor repair. Reading through the paperwork it’s clear the car has been maintained regularly despite the very low mileage of only 34k. There are 12 service stamps in the book, the majority of which are from Renault main agents. The last service was carried out only 50 miles ago in April 2024, and timing belt was last changed in June 2020 at 22k miles.
HISTORY FILE
This 34k mile example was originally supplied by Park’s of Hamilton in March 2008. Within the accompanying History File the lucky new owner will be presented with the original Renault document pack with all handbooks, the fully stamped service book (entries below), a selection of invoices and past MOT certificates verifying the low mileage, original 2008 sales brochures, a spare key, and two additional numbered F1 Team stickers.
