Here is my Saab 9-3 Aero convertible coupé from July 2001, a Swedish icon in a very rare version. This convertible was given a performance boost by Hirsch, Saab's official tuner, in St. Gallen, Switzerland. This 'Step 2 Hirsch Performance' preparation, the most powerful at the time, increased the engine's power and torque from 205 HP / 280 Nm to 260 HP / 350 Nm (the 0-100 hm/ h time was reduced from 7. 3 s to 6. 4 s). It was carried out in March 2010 after 8, 4552 km, and included reprogramming the engine, fitting a new air-to-air intercooler, lowering the bodywork by 30 mm, fitting Eibach short springs and Bilstein shock absorbers, and installing a stainless steel exhaust system from the catalytic converter. The invoice (around €4, 000) and certificates are available. The 13bhp tax rating remains unchanged, so this convertible, powered by the 2. 0-litre turbocharged B205R engine, is more powerful than the Viggen model equipped with the 225hp / 342Nm 2. 3-litre engine. This makes it a very rare model, I bought and imported this car from Switzerland in November 2018 at 146556 km. It now has 194365 km (evolving). Its history is clear and documented (up to date Saab service book up to 95378 km, invoices for the rest). I have maintained it regularly starting with a full service at Saab Heritage in May 2019 including a gearbox flush and strainer cleaning.
More recently: - replacement of front suspension arms, engine mount and 4 shock absorbers (Bilstein B8) at 182007 km - last oil change at 187486 km along with replacement of ignition cassette (black model) numerous hoses and fuel pump (Walbro GSS341 - 255LPH) All invoices are available. The gearbox is manual. The tyres currently fitted are Pilot Sport 4 215/ 45 ZR17 at the front (26000 km) and Nokian xLine 215 / 45 R17 at the rear (to be changed soon). This convertible has always been parked in a closed garage. The last CT was passed on 20/ 03/ 2023 at 182006 km. The interior of this future collector is in excellent condition. The bodywork is not free of minor defects but is in very good condition (no rust).
