A lot of expenese has already gone into this machine a change of circumstances has forced the sale of this motorcycle
1953/ 54 EMC Dr Joseph Erlich 125 EMC Works Prototype disc valve race bike
Rare Erlich prototype with a large quantity of spares inc two engines
Erlich chose Puch engines, pulled them apart and found ways to make them faster
Always a controversial character, he developed his own machines eventually building Yamaha beaters
These early EMCs show signs of his forward thinking
This machine was in a terrible state when found
It has had the Ally petrol tank restored, new forks machined from the tired originals which have spring internals only with no oil damping
New tyres, rims refurbished, new brake shoes, new Menani twin brake box, new levers, refurbished frame etc A large box of Erlich
Please note the large exhaust system experimenting with expansion chambers came later.
