Possibly the best-preserved example of a factory limited edition commemorating 60 years of the iconic XK engine which first appeared under the bonnet of the legendary XK120. Subtle, but distinctive styling features of this special version include 20” Senta alloy wheels, alloy gear knob and gate, front spoiler, sill appliques, rear valance, mesh grille, quartic tailpipe finishers, and chrome side vents. There is a wealth of paperwork in the file from the original signed order with Hatfields Jaguar through to the very recent last service and meticulous going-through by a well-known specialist including renewal of waxoil underbody treatments- the whole lot totaling around £3, 500. An exceptionally low mileage car which was with the original owner until 2023, when it then changed hands to the second and last registered keeper for £26, 000. Having covered 2, 000 miles within the last couple of years, the mileage is still just 18, 000 from new. Finished in Liquid Silver with Ivory Hide, the condition is exceptional, and this car would be impossible to repeat.
