I am putting up for sale my 1956 Peugeot S 57 scooter, a very nice quality Peugeot scooter that I have owned since 1984. It has only covered 10700km since it was put into service.
Having not used it for many years, I have decided to put it up for sale after a final cosmetic and mechanical restoration.
The final work, after general dismantling, consisted of changing all the engine and wheel bearings, as well as the spinnaker seals. Installation of a new dell'orto 19 carburettor, the original having become leaky and difficult to adjust. The wiring harness has been redone. The floor mats are new, a good remanufacture by the Amicale Peugeot. The pearly white paintwork was fitted in the 80's and remains in very good condition. No traces of abnormal piston/ cylinder/ crankshaft wear.
