Morgan have always been a unique car however some cars are more unique than others!
To give a little back ground, In 2014, Morgan started production of 6 ARV6 3. 7ltr Roadster racing machines, most road legal, no doors, 320BHP with a power to weight ration of 370BHP per ton, it was Morgan most powerful race car to date Morgan then made 50 ARP4 between 2015-2016. It was a Cosworth tuned Plus 4, a race car for the road although there maybe a little trouble trying to get it through emissions testing.
This one, believed to be the only specifically made for the road, is truly a one off.
Still AR tuned to 300BHP, there are many optional race parts still fitted, grooved and vent front discs, AR front brakes, brake reaction bar(preventing movement), Panhard rod(once again helping to prevent lateral movement), adjustable front and rear shocks, uprated air filter for better cooling and a cool air intake under the bonnet scoop. Yokohama semi slick tyres, including the spare back up the race pedigree of this car.
It’s not all race, race, race though. Inside is a different story! Trimmed in tweed, yes tweed, you feel like you’re in a tourer in the heated, performance seats that offer lumber support. Leather is everywhere so you have the quality feel. The door pockets compliment the seats, again finished in tweed, even the hood envelope is tweed, I’ve said it once, this car is unique.
Another one off is the Moto-lita steering wheel, painted in the body colour and etched on the spokes.
In our opinion the Roadsters are the pinnacle of the traditional Morgans, the drive is fantastic, this car might just be the best of the best!
