Description
This 1965 Sunbeam Tiger Mk1 is a right-hand drive, UK-market car.
A known car to the Tiger club for over 40 years, with notes in the file of various previous keepers and how long they owned the car. Notably two of these keeper spanned 40 years!
Tastefully upgraded engine to a Ford 289 V8, which is thought to have been in the car since the 1970s.
History within the file going back to 1978, which is made up of old invoices and MOT’s.
Prior to its second to last owner, there intention was to fully restore the car and they had an Aston Martin restoration workshop strip the car to bare metal, any necessary metal replaced and then repainted in Forrest Green.
Sadly though, they decided to halt the project due to ill health.
The previous owner stepped in and took on the project, and really did the car complete justice by finishing it to a very high standard, of which we will list the works below:

- Post Restoration
After the cars restoration was completed, it was put up for sale where it was then bought by the current owner in 2022.
Under current ownership the car has been used sparingly and incredibly well cared for with just under £7, 000 being spent on servicing and remedial work.
