Norton's answer to the BSA Hornet and the Triumph TT
Mainly Matchless G85CS, this off-road design was aimed at the USA
This example is a correct numbers model that's been restored to a high standard
Built on 28/ 06/ 1967 and despatched to US Norton distributor, Berliner Motor Corp, this matching numbers Norton P11 was repatriated and registered in the in UK November. 2005
The first UK owner kept the bike until 2012 when it was sold to the owner of a small classic motorcycle shop in Northern England, who started a comprehensive restoration soon after. At this time the mileage was showing as 10, 598
The work was completed in 2015 and is documented in the history file with many invoices for parts which also show details of an engine rebuild

The P11 model has become one of those mystical British bikes, the original version was only produced between 1967 and ’68 before it became the slightly softer P11A / Norton Ranger and it finally went out of production in 1969 to make way for the Commando.
