Built in Metuchen, New Jersey in 1968, this is a C-Code Hardtop Coupe that was optioned from new with the 210bhp, 2-valve, 289ci V8 mated to a 3-speed automatic transmission
The car was restored in the US in c. 2010 and imported to the UK by its previous owner who sold it to our vendor around eight years ago
He had the car refreshed by his in-house mechanic who carried out a colour change to Highland Green (Bullitt)
It retains its original two-tone green interior, 289 engine and automatic transmission and in 2022 had a new fuel tank fitted and some wiring issues attended to
Well maintained by our vendor and in a topical colour, this classic Notchback is a good usable example of Ford's legendary 1968 Mustang
