For sale: a rare Citroën CX 2400 GTI AM1978 garage-kept, little driven for the last 10 years.
Due to a change of plan, an excellent restoration project. 117, 000 miles/ original km, complete, almost corrosion-free (one spot on the battery tray), doors perfect, chassis, wheel arches, rear luggage area, sills and underbody perfect.
Interiors in fabric in excellent condition, hazel brown jersey trim, full air conditioning but not functioning, 5-speed manual, shifts smoothly, all on-board accessories present and in very good condition.
Battery tray slightly attacked but complete, doors, chassis, wheel arches, and wing flares entirely corrosion-free.
Exhaust system provided, the original is perforated; car has never been tampered with. New injector hoses, other hoses 10 years old, battery tired.
Starts, runs and rides without issue, brakes work, but the spheres are fatigued, especially at the rear, and it is sold without a current technical inspection, so transport on a trailer is preferable. Will only be ceded to an enthusiast who will refresh it, no dismantling!
Steel wheels fitted, parts available separately, including 14-inch alloy wheels. Registration in my name.
