Just arrived at The Garage!
1934 MG PA Midget
The replacement for the successful MG J2 Midget appeared as the ‘P’ Type in March 1934.
Boasting a much improved engine with a 3 bearing crankshaft, the new model also benefited from larger brakes and a revised chassis.
Available as a 2 or 4 seater, there was also the choice of a stylish ‘Airline’ Coupe. The earlier model was to become known as the PA, following the introduction of the ‘PB’ with slightly larger engine, later in 1935.
A 1934 2 seater, the PA we offer here has had the engine rebuilt with a new block, Phoenix crankshaft and rods along with a modern oil filter within the original casing. The dynamo has been rebuilt.
The steering box has also been rebuilt. The starter motor has also been rebuilt and a new battery fitted.
A delightful example, this car is sure to appeal to a person seeking a good, correct example of this characterful overhead camshaft model.
