Finished in its original Snowberry White with a black cap and fitted with standard-size steel Cooper wheels fitted with Blockley tyres, laminated front windscreen, auxiliary spotlights and twin fuel tanks
Powered by the classic 998cc A-Series engine which was rebuilt some 25 years ago to +20 with re-bored block, reground crankshaft, new bearings, and unleaded valve seats, paired with an overhauled gearbox with new bearings and synchromesh components
Specification includes Cooper S front and rear brakes, heavy-duty shock absorbers, replaced steering rack, LCB exhaust, oil cooler, alternator conversion, upgraded radiator, rewired electrics for trip meter, electric washers and auxiliary power socket, plus Safety Devices roll cage, Cobra seats, Willans harnesses, renewed brake pipes, re-routed battery leads and a battery cut-out
Restored in 1999 and subsequently prepared for historic rally use, completing the London to Istanbul Historic Rally where it reportedly performed faultlessly and achieved first in class
Supplied with a Heritage Certificate, extensive history file including old MOTs, photographs and invoices, tax and MOT exempt, with the option to use 'as' is or cosmetically refresh the paintwork to address minor corrosion issues
