Description
THE CAR HAS BEEN SOLD AND, AFTER 48 YEARS SPENT IN THE NETHERLANDS, IT WILL RETURN TO FRANCE.
Because of my age, the lack of space in my garage, and my limited knowledge when it comes to bodywork, I’m forced to sell my 1966 DS 21M Comfort. It starts, lifts and drives very well, even on LPG. No LHS fluid leaks to report.
I bought this car from the Citroën dealer in Issoire in 1978 and brought it back to the Netherlands. I carried out most of the servicing myself, leaving certain jobs to professional technicians.
Here is a summary of recent maintenance work apart from the engine oil change, including replacement of the LHS fluid with RR fluid (within the last 5 years):
- new original green paintwork layer (original grey roof)
- new upholstery
- new front wiring loom
- 4 new tyres
- alternator dynamo
- new indicator switch
- overhauled HP pump
- new accumulator sphere for the brakes
- new HP pressure regulator sphere with its return hose
- new fuel tank
- overhauled windscreen wiper motor
Of course, a few jobs will still need doing:
- work on the boot floor
- left-hand front sill
- right-hand rear chassis section
- overhaul of the power steering
An excellent, very complete base for a restoration.
Many parts and accessories are included, and there’s more than enough hydraulic oil.
I reply only by email. More photos and videos on request.
