Description
This 1967 Citroen DS21 was shortened and rally prepared in France in order to be used in the Historic Rally of Marocco. The conversion and preparation was done by an expert company in France, named SM2a Engineering. They also fitted the car with a rollcage , hydraulic semi-automatic gearbox and tuned engine.
After some years the car was offered for sale and purchased by a Dutch buyer who also had use in a long-distance roadrally in mind.
He gave the car into the hands of an experienced Citroen competitor who was also a gearbox specialist. He converted the gearbox to 5-speed and tuned the engine to 140 HP.
Then the car was entered in the Historic 2023 White Nights rally which took the participants through most of the Artic countries over a period of more then 15 days.
Due to moving countries and the inability to import the car in his new overseas country the owner has now decided to offer the car for sale.
The car comes from a private party with EEC paperwork.
