Fairway London Taxi - Turbo Engine
This is a nice example of the iconic London Taxi. Carmen red in colour, it was originally a showroom demonstrator model for Mann & Overton for 4 months before being registered for work in London in September 1995.
The interior is vinyl and is in good condition with no splits or tears. The rear headlining is clean. It drives well and starts quickly, it has the Nissan 2. 7 diesel engine and auto gearbox fitted with the SST turbo system, it does not smoke like many others. It has many extras such as a bit of wood trim, carpet door panels and a wood rim steering wheel. It has just been serviced and a full MOT.
Many panels are original although these are sound there are some minor battle scars from London traffic over the years.
If you want a good London cab to preserve then this would be a sound choice.
Realistically priced. Can be viewed in either North London (N13) or Braintree, Essex.
