Description
Westfield Classic Single Seater originally designed in the mid 1990's and built in limited numbers for the oval GP midget racing formula, several also found their way into hillclimbs with a variety of engines. Based on an earlier Dastle design this particular car was built up as a show car and never completed spending most of its life on the wall of a sports bar. Consists of a full spaceframe chassis with standard Westfield front suspension and alloy rear uprights, full fibreglass body which has been raced and appears in early publicity material, race seat, pop off steering wheel, 10" Weller wheels with good Avon slicks.
This is an unused rolling chassis set up to take a Ford engine / gearbox and Sierra diff and has all suspension but no brakes or plumbing and could be completed to make a competitive GP Midget or hillclimb car or even a unique road car
