Toyota Celica 2. 0 GT Convertible.
Positives:
I have had this car now for 4 years and have used it every day. It is a fantastic car to drive and has never let me down. It has a full service history, 4 previous owners, registered in April 2000 'W' registration. This is a full UK car and NOT a Japanese import. It has done 97, 000 miles. Black with black leather interior, LED daytime running lights, electric front and rear windows, electric roof with manual option, 5 speed gearbox. In very good condition.
Not so positives:
These are not really negatives, and don't spoil the day to day driving of the car, but there are a few things that had I have kept the car would have sorted out. The wheels are very high end alloys and could do with refurbishing. The electric aerial does not work anymore (it is permanently in the up position, so didn't worry about getting it fixed), the rear drivers side window has a loose connection, as does the heated rear window, slight tear on drivers seat (other seats are in perfect condition). The main issue is one of the plastic supports for the roof mechanism has just snapped, so the electric roof doesn't work. The roof can still be taken down manually. All these issues are minor defects if you know what you are doing with cars.
It has been a real joy to own and drive over the past 4 years, and only selling because of a new car. It is very rare, and even at its age, still a very good looking car, with roof up or down.
