An unusual, correctly registered on V5, Rickman based on Ford Escort mk2 with many modifications. Originally built from April to July 1988 it has a 4. 125:1 ratio rear axle, with recent single leaf rear springs and 9inch rear drum ( new shoes). And recently replaced front 10 inch discs with new pads.
1300 ohv cross flow engine is fitted with a Webber twin choke carb, K&N filter, 4 branch exhaust with side exit exhaust.... sounds great. Engine sounds superb with no rattles.
A 4 speed( Rocket )E type gearbox is fitted and all changes are smooth and precise.
Lumenition ignition, new NGK plugs just fitted together with new oil ( Millers mineral}, oil filter, fuel filter and many other parts.
Folding rear seat and glass sun roof for ventilation
Fibreglass bodywork is very good with no stress cracks....
It even has a Rickman heater fitted together with a Fiat Panda bonnet scoop. Original door cards fitted today
There are many original features and a few improvements could still be made..... paintwork could be improved , the rear tyres 6mm tread but have sidewall cracks where the car has been left standing (advisory). Has Mot 6th September 2016
