For sale is my recently reburbished, extremely low mileage 1987 ZL Kawasaki 1000. The kilometers are genuine with overall condition of this wonderful classic being a 9. 8 out of ten.
Just fitted new front and rear tyres, rims and brake discs have been vapour blasted resulting in a factory satin finish look.
New professional paint job with inside of fuel tank rust treated and coated (3 stage treatment and sealed). Carbs have been dismantled cleaned, polished and balanced. Valve clearances checked and at original factory settings with cooling system in excellent condition.
All oils changed including oil filter. Spark plugs changed, new battery fitted recently. New front shock absorber seals and dust covers fitted with genuine OEM parts.
This ZL 1000 is fast, starts with the first push of the starter button then purrs while waiting for the throttle command. The overall condition of this classic thoroughbred supports the extremely low kilometers.

This rare model was rated when new of performing 0-100 km/ hr in 2. 8 seconds. And was the first time that Kawasaki had built a water cooled in-line four cylinder with a shaft drive.
