Originality is only once and this Velox exudes this along with care.
This Velox far exceeds the quality normally expected of a car from this period and is a strong contendor for the best 1960 Velox in existence, and makes history come alive again.
The Vauxhalls and Ford Zodiacs were the number one saloons to own in the '50s and '60s and they totally captivate the sound, imagination and feel of the Rock 'n' Roll culture, and make a lifestyle statement.
In fact they were an emblem and designed with Rock 'n' Rolls music being played to the workers.
We feel these cars with the Zodiac and Zephyr should be in the £30, 000 - £35, 000 bracket such is their outstanding style and glamour and being a classic car since the 1960s we cannot understand why this has not happened.
To restore a Velox to this standard would cost in excess of £18, 000, so we would only want to sell it to a new owner who will appreciate, garage and care for it to the enduring quality of excellence already present.
Included with the history packs are previous MOTs to 1978 and tax discs.
Also a picture of a previous owner at a show being presented with a trophy by the Lord Mayor.
We are very proud of this car!
Viewing is essential and ramp facilities are available.
