Just 1 UK Owner registered on V5 \ and only 70000 miles which believe to be genuine never had a UK mot recorded on electronic system and dvla shows tax due from jan 84 as appears to have only been taxed once for 6 months upon registering in UK!
This is a French LEFT HAND DRIVE 1964 Renault Caravelle / Floride convertible with Removable Hard Top from its chassis number shows as manufactured 1964
1108cc Engine
This is a very rare classic convertible finished in white with black interior.
Will need restoration work.
The actual shell and floors are pretty solid.
The lower doors, the sills and forward and mid longitude chassis requires repairs
Engine is very sweet and started and run with no issues after many many years.
Hard top and chassis section work required the glass is all good. Lower door skins require repair and lower door frames. Sills in and out needed. And where front and back wings meet to front or back panel require work to the invisible seams!
Top of rear wings where roof sits require work also (red seen in pic of rear wing is not rust).
Otherwise solid as all paint removed for appraisal. A very viable restoration in my opinion. Wheel arches all solid
Interior is all original with perfect seats, dash and steering wheel really good for the year
All original parts included chrome side strips incl sill strips. Looked worse than was due to being under car cover maybe 25 years. And although this did not help car breath and many issues arose from not breathing airing.
But this also preserved dash and seats and steering wheel from sun damage and cracking.
So I have started restoration but have limited time. You can buy as described. Or keep an eye on advert as may progress. I has braced door apertures to maintain structural integrity!
