Last chance this car is about to be sold next week!!
I bought this superb new white Kia Proceed in 2012 because I expected to do a lot of long distance quick journeys for which the car is ideal. I wanted the Schreyer (ex-Audi) face-lift model for its looks and I didn't fancy the 2013 model because of all the stop-start and electronic paraphernalia. It took me a long time to track down this car because it was on runout and the new model was in the showrooms.
As a result of changes in 2013 the car has only done 250mls in each of the last 2yrs. This year will be even lower so I have decided to offer it for sale as it is a waste of a brilliant car to leave it in the garage.
The car is a '2'spec high power diesel version with a 6spd overdrive manual gearbox. This engine was the diesel to beat in 2012. It developed 113 bhp and yet it was only 119gm/ km therefor £30rt without resort to stop-start but, best of all, it has a proper chain driven camshaft layout, hence no mot rubber belt worries (I wonder why competitors fiddled their results?). Standard spec is too long to list (ask) and I had a towbar, rear park sensors, mudshields and carpets fitted pre-delivery. The manufacturer fitted bluetooth as a runout freeby and gave me an ipod adapter but I have never used either!
The car has been kept all its life in a dry garage. It has a full main dealer service history in spite of the low mileage and it has 2+ yrs of Kia warranty to run. My price for only 4200mls has got to be a steal when a new one costs around £20k. There are not a lot of this model around and it's a real looker. I would consider px of a small towncar ( eg Alto, Picanto, Aygo) for my low annual mileage.
