This attractive 2 stroke motorcycle is in excellent running order. It has a recorded mileage of just over 1600 miles from new . the mileage certificates date back to the 1960's
The history of the bike is contained in the documentation which includes the original "Buff" log book and various other books .
A large number of Road Fund Licences and MOT"s dating back to 1962 are included .
Starts and runs well , it has 3 speeds
The bike has been authenticated by the Royal Enfield Owners Club as original , having been supplied to Bates of Canterbury on 18/ 11/ 1960
There is no current Mot nor is it taxed as I have only ridden it for short distances on private roads locally .
The bike has undergone a total nut and bolt restoration by a previous owner right down to the hand pump and it still retains it's full chain guard which are much sought after items . However there are some blemishes on the paintwork

I purchased the Bike about 5 years ago because my own company used to make numerous aluminium castings for Royal Enfield in the 50/ 60s and we cast the four crankcase castings for this bike by the High Pressure die casting process and it was a bit of nostalgia I am now 79 an no longer a rider .
