Here we have my 1981 Laverda 3CL 1000 this is a rare series 2 European spec machine ( right hand gear change and softer tuned motor ) these were never officially imported to the UK all UK series 2 bikes were orange and silver Jotas.
I imported the bike from Spain in 2014 and it is registered in my name.
This is a matching numbers bike (6994) With 50750 km ( 31534 miles ) on the clock.
Work done since purchasing the bike -
Carbs – Ultrasonic cleaned with new jets, valves, hoses, seals and gaskets.
Primary and cam chains replaced.
Seat recovered on a refurbished base.
Jota stainless steel exhaust pipes fitted.
Goodridge braded hoses fitted.
New Motobatt 34amp Battery.
Kawasaki side stand conversion ( I have the original centre stand ).
New regulator/ rectifier.
Speedo and tacho faces replaced ( M P H ).
This bike has not been restored it was repainted before I purchased it and still looks good it is now 36years old and showing the odd age related mark. Engine starts on the button and runs without smoking or any nasty noises. The bike is used and rides very well.
